Your staff is exceptional. Everyone takes the time with the patient. Even before they start their shifts, they check in on the rooms to make sure everyone is all right. I had experience with unit one and they’re the best. They really loved my sister and treated her like family. They were very helpful to me every day when I came to visit.

My wife Patricia was a patient here at Crown for one week, coming from the hospital. The plan was to get her strong enough so she can get up out of the chair and go to the bathroom by herself. Unfortunately that never came to pass, her dementia and the fall that she took that put her in the hospital to begin with, took its toll. I walked into Crown thinking about other nursing homes that I had been in over the years in different cities for various reasons. Expecting, hopefully not the worst. What I got was a very pleasant surprise, this place is clean, well-managed, organized and staffed with very caring people. I can't thank all the GREAT STAFF members that worked to do their very best with my wife. Thank you Crown for taking care of her for that one very short week. Thank you again.

Thanks for welcoming me to Crowne Healthcare of Eufaula. I think this is a great nursing home. However I do think a lot of improvements are needed. The atmosphere could be more welcoming towards people especially residents, visitors and new employees. From my experience, I can give a few honest maybe helpful advice and opinions. To feel welcome the head employees could introduce themselves to people that’s new to their environment so people can get familiar. During orientation or just people walking in maybe offer them a drink or lunch so they’ll be more comfortable or just a simply introduction of yourself and ask them for help if needed. When putting new employees on the floor to train, maybe it’ll be best to make certain you get someone that’s well trained, and who’s willing to help so the person can learn better and do what’s right when they get on their own. Also, instead of shadowing when training maybe try giving the new employee task on their own to complete and have the trainer to help if needed. It may would be best to have the schedule ready the beginning of each shift instead of waiting thirty minutes later to get an assignment. I’d love to walk in and the nurse to tell me my assignment and I go ahead and start the work. I understand sometimes things might get behind, but assignments should always be ready beginning of each shift. Also, when a new employee is on the floor training maybe everyone should be welcoming offering help and letting the person learn. Looking at someone and gossip can make someone very uncomfortable. Maybe let’s stop trying to intimidate and scare workers off so there want be any high turn overs because that’s where it starts. The whole building should be together as a team and not split sections. Also, there’s not many restroom and everyone have to get the key from the front desk. I don’t if it is possible but adding more restroom would be nice sometimes people might be in a rush and the bathroom is locked and also the restroom is very close behind the nursing station where people work and sit so that’s kind of no privacy. Also there’s like a lot of different codes to doors. I understand it’s for safety and more reason maybe putting codes the same would be easier to remember all. It would help to give new employees or anyone who need it a list of people to contact if they needed to get in touch with the head people in the facility of each department so they won’t have to figure it own their own. Improving the overall appearance of the facility with more welcoming decor could enhance the atmosphere. One of the strongest aspects of this facility is the benefits package, which is well organized and appreciated. However, I do feel the pay is lower compared to other facilities in the area. My goal is to adjust, grow, and have a positive experience while working here, and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of the team

Coordinating my dad’s care often feels like a second full-time job, especially while managing everything from thousands of miles away. Recently, I moved my dad to Crowne, and I honestly cannot thank the staff enough for the support they’ve given both of us.

From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible. They helped with paperwork, gave advice and reassurance throughout the process, and were incredibly patient and understanding as I balanced all of this with having two children, working full-time, navigating a 5+ hour time difference, and managing my dad’s care from so far away.

Most importantly, my dad is now settling in well. Every family member who visits says he seems genuinely happy, and that means everything to me. He also has extended family connections within the nursing home and local community, which gives him a real sense of belonging. It’s a small town where everyone knows everyone, and that gives me great comfort knowing he is surrounded by caring people.

For the first time in a long while, I feel like I can rest a little easier at night knowing my dad is in safe hands.

Thank you to the entire Crowne team from the bottom of my heart.
