Visited today for passport photos, huge success as the service includes a check on the Passport Office website to confirm they will accept the photo. Not a kiosk shot with blinding flash but the patient, unflappable Ian took several shots with a proper camera and I was very happy with the quality. It took some time as my grey hair blended too much with the white background to suit the Passport Office but adjusting the light combined with a lot of determination won through in the end. Hugely impressed, thank you!

I came into Timpsons at Morrisons (Lincoln) as I wanted a personalised plaque for my dad and AJ was very helpful and professional. It didn’t take long for the plaque to be made and I was very happy with how the plaque turned out. Great service and customer skills!

Called in the other day. My garage fob needed a new battery. I already had the battery but was unsure how to install. Lovely person called Hayley fitted it for me with no charge. Very rare these days to find someone to do something for nothing 🤗

UPDATE: Called in last week as my watch had stopped. A nice young man called Ian served me. Fitted a new battery at a very reasonable cost. Such helpful staff here.

Edit: I came back after having some keys cut to the wrong size at a different Timpsons and Alvyn sorted me out big time. I didn't remember giving a review before so came on here to give a 5* review and realised I'd already done one. Talk about a reliably excellent service!

I took my kilt to have new straps fitted to it as I have expanded and the expensive kilt was too small . I provided an old leather belt to be used for the straps to be fitted . I was served by Ian , who I have to say is one of the exceptional people who can keep their "cool" under pressure . The shop was terrible busy and he was on his own . A day later he called me and said the kilt was ready for collection . I was amazed at the detailed work he made of the straps ! Cutting away the original straps , polished clean new straps . Put several holes neatly aligned and shaped the leather ends ! Indeed Ian is an artist at his work , very much appreciated and a first rate job ! Thank you Ian .

Very helpful staff, answered questions guickly when put to them. Very good repair of new glass in my Samsung tablet. Took a bit longer than first anticipated but was kept informed of progress when approached.
